Huizhou
Huizhou City is situated in the south-east
of Guangdong, the northeast of the Pearl
River Delta, with Daya Bay to its south
on South China Sea, Heyuan City to its north,
Shanwei to its east, bordering on Shenzhen
and Hong Kong, and Dongguan and Zengcheng
in the west. It is a vital communication
hub for linking Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and
Shenzhen to the areas in east Guangdong.
Huizhou
is one of Guangdong's famous historical
cities. It gained the name of The swan City
from a fairy tale. Huizhou is rich in natural
scenery wit a full variety of lakes, mountains,
springs, seas and rivers. Its West Lake,
Luofu Mountain, Nankun Mountain, Daya Bay
and Gangkou Sea Turtle Protection Zone are
famous tourist resorts. All these natural
beauties together with its excellent people
gained it the title of "Famous Prefecture
of the South of the Five Ridges (the area
covering Guangdong and Guangxi Province)".
