Tianjin

Tianjin is a direct municipality of China, resided by close to 10 million people. 137 km west of nation's capital, Tianjin is Beijing's gateway to the open sea. Located on the banks of the Haihe River and Yunhe (Grand Canel), Tianjin is also a major transportation hub in northern-central China.Tianjin is well known for its 19th-century European-style buildings of the former concessions. Some of the streets are quite pleasant to stroll along.
